Doing The Bush/Media Twist

Speaking as a conservative right wing Christian, I stand constantly bumfuzzled and puzzled
by the popularity of the consummate liar and spin-doctor we have in our currant president
G.W. Bush. I do concede that his acting ability has far improved since the government
sponsored 9-11 debacle, but his thinking is not that quick or cunning. His spins at times
become so ridiculous that I fail to see how even a fool could be duped by his pseudo
patriotic rhetoric and spins on the stories that threaten his agenda.
At least when stories about FBI foreknowledge of the 9-11 incident began to come out he
had the common sense to keep his mouth shut, but his popularity has made him overconfident
in his non-ability of late.

5 SUSPECTED TERRORISTS CROSS THE BORDER FROM CANADA!!!
Consider the recent stories concerning the 5 "suspected terrorists" who
supposedly crossed our border from Canada. Just a couple days after the story broke I was
watching fox news. A reporter had tracked down a witness who positively identified one of
the five men. According to his story, the witness was a passenger on a bus that was
crossing over and claims that one of the 5 was definitely aboard the same bus. When they
were stopped at the border crossing he states that INS personnel checked the papers of the
"suspected terrorist", took him from the bus, but returned him about 20 minutes
later allowing him and everyone else aboard the bus to cross into the United States. His
eye-witness testimony was immediately killed and we never heard another word about it. Why
was it buried? Why werenât INS people interviewed?
As new years eve dawned we suddenly heard that the ante was upped and the 5 became 19
"suspected terrorists."
Then Bush and staff ran across a very upsetting development· 1 of the 5 was identified.
The only thing is he wasnât in the United States. He was in Pakistan. He spoke up·
something that the Bush administration hadnât counted on. For days the media reported on
this and there was a very telling silence from the White House.
Yesterday evening however, again watching fox news, Bush and reporters were on a 4 mile
hike and they at various times asked questions concerning Iraq, Korea, Homeland Security
and the "suspected terrorists" who had supposedly crossed our border. Asking him
point blank about the accused supposed terrorist who really was a jeweler still in
Pakistan, Bush again ignored the question and just commented, "I just want to know
why he had a fake passport· we here in America like things on the table·"
Surely with the worldâs #1 intelligence community at his disposal, and being president of
the richest nation on earth, he knows that this man wasnât in the U.S., and his fake
passport would have taken him to England, but he never left. This was pure spin from the
man who gave us Enron· This was spin from the man who wants things above board, but
wonât talk about his familyâs relationship with the Bin Laden Family and the Carlyle
group, which means that he personally profits from ANY AND EVERY military action we
involve ourselves in. With these pictures plastered from coast to coast, why is it that
there hasnât been 1 arrest in all this time? "Americaâs Most Wanted" program
has a higher catch rate without all the millions poured into the campaign. To me the real
questions are, "are any of these men really in this country or is this a scare tactic
being employed so that we as Americans will fear, thus screaming out to trade more of our
rights for "security" and eventual martial law?" And, "If this is just
pure spin what is the depth of Bushâs evil agenda?" Now there is talk of placing
American troops at our border. Will this turn out to be as much for trapping the citizens
of this nation inside even more than keeping the dangerous people out?
I believe Bush to be playing a very dangerous game in attempting to bring the world under
HIS order. Just as the administration of G.W.'s dad and Reagan giving Anthrax to Iraq to
be used against Iran could blow up in our faces, funding terrorist activities in this
nation to frighten its citizens can only have even more devastating effects.
